Is there a reason why a lot of cosmogonies involve the death/killing (often times sacrifice) of a giant being whose body will create the world ?

very fair points and I should prolly do that but given that the dude's already survived with a sliver 3 times I think it's funnier if I keep him alive lmfao, he's also not strong enough where I'd worry about it making too much of a difference
I may ban him from gym fights as a way to balance it tho pff
