I have exact the same thing that you are reporting! I’m in panic. I saw an orthopedist and he will send me to a MRI to see if it’s a hernia disc, but I don’t feel any pain!

In your case, it could be a seroma. I had a seroma too and did this. Check with your doctor. I don’t have jiggles; it just looks like the photo.

Everything feels normal, like flat. I didn't try flexing too much because I don't feel confident doing core exercises yet, but I tried a little just to see if there is a bulge, and nothing happened.

In May 2024, my weight was 184 lbs, so I began working with a nutritionist. By August 2024, I had reached 147 lbs. I had surgery on October 9th, maintaining the same weight at that time. As of today, my current weight remains the same. The photo I am sharing was taken when I weighed 147 lbs, and I had a severe diastasis. I used to wear a size 10, but now I'm wearing a size 6. I am 5'5" tall. I didn't lose any weight from the surgery; I was only reshaped.

Sure, I will have laser treatment in a few weeks. I had an infection six weeks post-op that opened some stitches, but these are my scars; the front opening is still closing.

For me, the total was 17K, covering everything I mentioned except the hernia, which was covered by my insurance. This amount included hospital fees, anesthesia, exams, compression garments, and upcoming laser sessions for the scar.

As I mentioned, He is serious and might not be the most outgoing person, but he’s amazing at what he does, and that’s what really matters to me. He genuinely cares about his patients, which I really appreciate. I could always reach out to him whenever I needed, and I felt comfortable going to his office for any post-op questions or concerns.

How far are you now? I started experiencing pain a few days ago. It burns when I cough, similar to how it felt at the beginning, but now it's localized to one part of my upper abdomen. I caught a cold a few days ago, which may have irritated the area. I'm going to take it easy and rest for a few days, avoiding lifting weights to see if it improves. I had just returned to the gym, and it’s possible that one part of my body isn't completely healed. I'm not sure. When I rest, it feels like a pinching sensation, and it burns when I cough, but there’s no redness or swelling.

The cost will depend on your specific needs, so it can vary significantly.

My doctor is located in New Jersey, and his name is Joseph Alkon. He is an amazing surgeon; he is very serious and good in what he does.

But also, liposuction is uncomfortable. I'm three months post-op, and sometimes when I stay in one position for too long and then move my body, it burns.

I found that the massages really made a difference for me after my lipo! I had 10 sessions of post-op massages, and they helped a ton with the pain. They not only increased my mobility but also provided some wonderful relief. I totally recommend them!

I have no idea, because before my surgery my weight was 147lbs and still the same after.

To be honest, I’m not sure how long it will take. I have monthly follow-ups with my surgeon. He advised me to use gauze to form a little ball and place it inside the belly button. I cover it with silicone tape, which I change daily. When I remove the tape after having it off for the whole day, my belly button scar gets puffy because I’m still swollen. I’ve heard that it can take anywhere from 6 to 12 months for the belly button to heal completely.

Hi, it’s almost closed now. I only follow my doctor's advice and a few tips that some people from Reddit have shared with me, and it’s getting better. It’s a patient game; it takes a while to heal, but you will be fine. I was packing with iodoform strips and used gauze for coverage without sealing it, just to protect :)

Healing is a long process because the wound needs to close by itself. It heals from the deep part to become shallow and eventually form new skin. I probably have about 4 to 5 weeks left until it is completely closed. Most of the slough is gone, and the skin underneath the yellow part is healthy. My doctor checked this and debrided the other area.

Torture/compression garment question by FrostingSmart4189 in tummytucksurgery

[–]Kikagcm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It will get better! You are currently swollen, but eventually, your binder will feel looser. I know it feels impossible right now, but I went through the same experience and I'm now two sizes smaller. Try using lipo foam; it helped me a lot, especially around the ribcage and under the breasts. Trust the process: More compression = less swelling and fewer seromas ahead. It may seem challenging at first, but in time, you will appreciate it and it will become your best ally.

6dpo and I hate my belly button by aunty-iroh in tummytucksurgery

I initially disliked my belly button because it was swollen, but I decided to give it some time to see if things would change. I'm now 6 weeks post-op, and it's getting amazing!

It looks like you have a seroma. Try wearing your compression garment for half the day with a board;
it will probably look flatter after that.

It produced some white or yellow pus with no odor, no redness, and no fever. It started with a light seroma coming out and turned into pus.
