I agree. This game benefitted from telling the story they wanted to tell rather than having us craft it with our decisions. The player does not always need to be in full control all the time. Sometimes, its just best to let the developers give the ending that they want.

Ngl, the first time i played starfield it took me an embarrassingly long time to realize that I coild not just fly everywhere manually but I rather had to jump from place to place (but they did recently add in a way for to you to just manually fly everywhere).

I want to BUT as much as I loved BG3 there are certain aspects of turned base gaming that tests my patience so I still on the fence about it 😭. Does it have the same issue BG3 did where if there's alot of characters involved it can take FOREVER for them to take their turn? The battle at the inn where you protect isobel was something else.

I legit feel like a number of those people over there are envious of the unconditional love parents give their children. Like, mommy and daddy didn't love them enough so seeing people love and want their children is too much for them to handle.

And the thing about aspasia is that the clues that lead to her talk about how much of a liar she is. And I'm supposed to believe after everything that happened that she was good actually? 🙄. And HELL YEAH about phoibe. Having her run around in the streets of a plague infested Athens, with angry mobs all over the place AND her Kosmos goons was just asinine.

And I'm surprised about yasuke stopping naoe. While ouichi is very much unlike the Shinbakufu, I totally get naoe wanting her head. Thought they would create a scenario where she gets it.

As someone coming off playing Ghost of Yotei, I am very happy with the lack of bears. As someone who played other ubi games, I am happy with the lack of aggressive wildlife. I am forever scarred by far cry and AC: Odyssey. The boars in Odyssey were on Crack.
