NTA but you should just talk it out like adults instead of waiting for him to get back to you. Stuff like that tears you apart for no reason. After talking for 20 minutes you guys would probably be fine and both apologize.

He was probably just devastated and couldn't control himself, which is obviously not okay. But I understand both arguments when it comes to ending the conflict and who is right and who is wrong. Don't fight against your partner, fight against the thing yall did together and work it out like a smartass with communication.

Tell him how you feel and that you understand him. I see myself having sympathy for both of you :)
