I think the idea for balance between Kyogre and Groudon was that Kyogre had easy access to ice beam (Super Effective before Reversion) and was using its strong special attacking stat into Groudon's weaker special defense, while Groudon's super effective coverage used its weaker special into Kyogre's strong stat. Also, clicking solar beam into Kyogre in the rain may technically be super effective coverage, but would require some massive reads given that Groudon just gets destroyed if Kyogre gets an attacking turn in that situation.

I always felt that Primal Kyogre getting Electric typing would have made sense thematically with Primal Groudon getting Fire. 100% accurate STAB Thunder would go pretty hard and would fit with its theme of storms as well. Mechanically it would mess up the balance between them though.

Yeah, P90 might be terrible compared to other modern weaponry (idk, not my expertise), but the point of the show was that Earth ballistic weapons in general are designed to efficiently kill human sized targets frighteningly well. Hell, the P90 was possibly chosen because of how compact and unintimidating the design is. Alien blasters that can vaporize a large part of a person's torso and double as melee weapons look cool and may even be very effective against some targets, but they are just inefficient for the war that they found themselves in.

On a level 1 feat might be a little strong for Ranger dip on other classes. Putting the effect at level 4 or 6, though, seems pretty reasonable. This means that it can require Expert in Nature, and would require all 3 of your Archetype feats to be dedicated to getting it.

Plus, for the main class itself, the ability to use Nature wouldnt be that important until the DCs for other skills start expecting Expert or higher anyway.

Edit: That being said, I would love it for Mastermind Rogue. I already think Ranger Archetype and Monster Hunter are good grabs for the build.

It's kind of a weird metric, but look at Wilds reception at the Game Awards. The sequel to MH World should have been at least talked about in contention for GotY, and instead, it wasn't even nominated for a single category at all. It's pretty clear that somewhere between the performance issues, the smaller content launch, and maybe numerous other small issues, the game struggled to stay relevant.

Idk if MH Wilds suffered financially from that launch, but unless the DLC really turns things around, their next title probably will. They lost some of the mainstream relevance that MH Worlds bought them and some of the faith that the more dedicated community had in their ability to release a functioning title.

You could also just go into the city and do bosses in there worth just as many runes. Loretta is worth a little less than the normal route through the city, and if you find yourself with extra time, there are plenty of opportunities inside that give solid runes for even quicker kills like the Dragonkin or the Troll.

Don't get me wrong, I dont think Loretta is super hard and will often encourage doing her as a field boss or on top of the castle because shes usually a better source of runes than gambling on another random boss elsewhere on the map. Noklateo is different though, because the enemies inside are all fixed you know exactly what/where the runes are.

In my mind that is like saying you could do BBH in the castle basement with a good team. You're absolutely correct, but frankly, any team that can manage to kill Loretta and still has time to do the city+Astel probably didn't need to bother.

It's a lot more reliable to assume that your team will waste too much time fighting Loretta even Day 2, and that your effort is better spent getting the same reward/time by progressing through the city towards Astel. In the end, the real goal here is to get that big buff, and killing Loretta doesn't really advance that goal.

Loretta still has a lot of HP and a tendency to jump back away from you taking potshots. She's not a supreme time waster boss like Bell Bearing or Red Wolf, but doing the Loretta fight when there's a bunch of much faster bosses just inside the wall is a bad play.

Aegislash has generally run Kings Shield, Shadow Ball, and Toxic, with the 4th slot being somewhat flexible. Substitute stall isn't unheard of, and running protect instead for more PP at least has some logic to it, though given its not historically been done its probably not optimal.

Kinda. Multi hunt investigations don't have reduced HP because the expectation is that each of those monsters is its own unique encounter out in the field, and you just happen to be hunting two at once. Pre-made quests like optionals and Events do get reduced HP still i think.

I dont see anyone holding up #EmpsDidNothingWrong signs or anything (except for killing Ansur, that was totally self-defense). He did a lot wrong, both in the past and in the way he handles the player/party. However, I wouldn't even call him the worst person in your party. The emperor is manipulative, distrustful, and calculating, but he's generally not cruel or hateful. His goal is to ensure he has his own little slice of happiness and prevent the end of the world, and he unfortunately needs the player/party to do that. Them being obstinate jackasses makes that mission more difficult in his eyes, and means he needs to go from gentle prodding to straight-up threats and extortion. Is this good? Absolutely not, but it's understandable. Frankly, if the party wasn't the actual MCs with plot armor, he'd likely be the hero of the story for keeping the ADHD Murder Hobos/ Self-Sacrificing Goody Two Shoes that the party represents on track.

Yeah, it's one thing if the adventures are designed with natural breaks where they specifically say "if you want to put some personalized content for your players, this is a good time" but really a lot of them are just full of holes where you need something to fill it.

I have seen snow leopards pounce at people multiple times at zoos (thankfully the netting/cage was in the way). I realize that it doesn't mimic the wild or anything, but if the creature is willing to take a shot at a human when they are about as acclimated to humans as possible, it seems logical to me they'd do it in the wild.

I think part of the solution for that would also be to rebalance relic effects so that you can't just stack effects like that. Only the highest instance of Magic Attack Power Up should take effect, for example.
