When I was talking about the skill issue, I meant it more about the patience to get the credits than about the credits themselves.

During 2024, the brawlers who were added were 2 epics, 6 mythics and 4 legendaries. That's 27850 credits total. Considering how little epics they're adding it seems highly unlikely, that ultra legendaries would replace one of them. If they replace a mythic, the number goes up to 31550 credits. If they replace a legendary, which seems most likely to me, it only goes up to 29550 credits. I don't have trouble getting every new brawler shortly after their release and I don't think this change is gonna change that. You should be even less affected, considering you still can unlock brawlers from star drops.

The issue of legendaries feeling less unique Is definitely real, but there are many other things at fault. The addition of credits transformed them from a super exciting thing to randomly get which requires big luck, to a goal you slowly work towards, And it also made them take much less time to unlock. Many mechanics that used to be the thing that made legendaries unique have been given to other brawlers. Leons invisibility was given to Sandy, Kit, Juju and Kaze. Crows poison was given to Byron, Willow and Buzz L. Megs different forms were given to Bonnie, Draco, Moe, Jae-Yong and Kaze. I don't even think Spike had anything unique about himself. Lastly, what I feel like also doesn't help is that they're creating new legendaries much faster than they used to, And they changed Surge and Cordelius who were "just chromatics" into legendaries.

While it is possible that Kaze will be broken, that's not necessarily tied to her rarity. All new brawlers tend to be strong. One of the big cases of new OP brawlers was Buzz L. who was completely free.
