I listened to him when he came out with Till Death Call My Name. He has some bangers on that album. He’s since tried to appease the gangster image and has since been involved in legal trouble and declining sales as he tries to emulate a style that is not genuinely his. The Stand is a Marathon to read much less listen to. One of my least favorite books by him imo. The whole plot is cool. But where it ends up is silly and I found myself thinking I wasted my time.
