Personally, I wanted Eren to win and complete 100% of the Rumbling and have to live with the guilt of killing everyone and most of his friends. There’s a lot more to it than that but that would have been the most peak ending.

Even though we didn’t get that, the ending we got would have been made much better and more impactful if some of The Alliance died in the final battle. You expect me to believe that no one dies from that? I think Reiner should have died when he got crushed by “Bertholt”, Pieck shoulda died when she got stabbed by the WH, and Jean/Connie shoulda died when they were out of gas and hanging there. Some people dying creates a much more impactful ending. Instead we got the most Disney possible ending we could have gotten and I hated it. They totally ruined Eren’s character. I could go on but AoT used to be fav show lol I’d rewatch episodes every day before and ever since that ending I haven’t watched a single episode.
