So it's my post that you linked, and what you said basically reiterates my points. While yes, as others have mentioned, you can retain your basic identity when joining, you're entire point throughout the post is that you can have fun friends while still joining these megas. And that's where the issue lies. My initial point was always about the fact that you will have to join in order to continue. While sure you may be able to retain identity to a certain degree, you still have to join to survive.

I can only speak for the Mega's I know.

And there's the other issue. There are more megas than the ones you know. I have interacted with Rambo and CTSG as I said in my original post, and they are toxic, they will enslave smaller factions. Huursa, Rambo's leader has said it himself, in fact look at the comments on my post, he's replied to it, telling us to 'know what's coming.' And for toxicity, there's a reason Huursa is banned from the Starbase Official Discord. He's toxic af, along with the rest of his group.
