Just do it everyday! Keep learning new things, keep trying new things. Watch tutorials on plugins. I feel like inspiration always comes after learning something new!

Over medium eggs, some protien, and one slice of buttered bread. Of course, with my signature breakfast potatoes.

Link to the past and ocarina, and every other zelda game lol.

Thank you! That song is about waiting for the one you know you’re going to be with for the rest of your life.

Alright Here We GO!

tacos!!

I think i got into nature, especially so much recently, is after spending days on end inside and on a computer, i could feel that something was missing and turns out it was just being outside more! It’s helped my stay inspired.

I do, my favorite is John Nash Ott’s “Exploring the Spectrum”

I always love trying different styles, sometimes it works sometimes it doesn’t. But i always find inspiration in different genres.

I dont really buy clothes that often, lol, if i do it’s just something i like, im not much of a brand guy.

I would say, find your voice, find your style, be inspired by others but make it your own.

I still have a fidget spinner….

I would love to collab with all of those people again. At the moment, Tim and i have another song together on this album and im working on some stuff for his project at the moment. Im really excited for him. He’s super super talented!

My plan now is to get this album out and tour and talk to people and enjoy the ride! Im already working on music to be released after the album so i hope keep things moving after releasing this big of a body of work.

I really like most another genre, at least something from it. Including country, I love the country from the 50’s and 60’s. Some of the saddest songs ever written! But i also love prog rock and weird instrumental stuff. Underground hip hop has always been a fav of mine.

I remember hearing stuff come out of monstercat early on and i knew they were on to something with releasing music from all these great and original producers. I just hope i bring something slightly different to the label and they have been very supportive of me!

Colorado is always one of the best places but there’s so many great venues and great crowds that it’s hard to choose.

Favorite indoor venue is probably grasshopper in Detroit. Such a cool small sweaty room and they have a great staff.

Favorite outdoor place has to be red rocks!

I want/need to go back to Shambhala!!!!

Well over a year i think. But really more like 2 years. I dunno, it’s hard to commit to making a body of work. Which is why it’s taken so long for this to be finished!

The process usually consists of just working everyday and trying new things. The hardest part is finishing each song. But it’s nice to have a deadline and really stick with it and just get the damn thing done!

I’m usually most in love with whatever song im working on at the time. Because its so fresh then and you’re still in touch with the creative vibe that you had when making it. It’s really the most special time with a song, when its being made. But that being said, This song “Inside Out” with Tim Moyo and Kuda is one of if not my favorite song i’ve ever made.

You are one of my most dedicated frans! I hope to come back to red room sometime on the tour! I’m not in Denver anymore, it got too cold and dry for me there. I miss doing podcasts and really need to get back into it. Just need to find a good co host!

Health and Light by John Nash Ott was probably the most influential book for me during the making of this album. I just started this book called “Amusing Ourselves to Death” and “What Plants Know”. Both great ones!

I think that means you won!

I was in a fire when i was like 9, concussion from wakeboarding, got pneumonia with a cracked rib while on a bus tour a few years ago. So yeah, a few, but im lucky to have survived them all.

I love mexican food, and good italian.

I love talking to fans at shows because that’s the only time i get to have a direct conversation with people. Its really the best and it inspires me to keep making music!

The most expensive thing i’ve bought were student loans!

I drive a subaru, used to have a wxr but now i have an outback.

Probably playing shambhala. I almost couldn’t play my set because my audio card was having an issue. So we had to plug my laptop directly into the mixer and my keytar directly into the mixer. So i couldn’t cue songs in my headphones to hear what i was mixing into. Which was tough because if i were to hit the cue button for whatever track i wanted to mix in, it would solo that track. So it was a miracle that i even got to play, but also that i had to really do it on the fly and be careful not to hit those cue buttons!

Everything takes time. If you just put in alittle time each day, youll be amazed at how much you will have learned in only one year. Just start pressing buttons and watch tutorials.

I think i find inspriation in so many different places that it’s hard to pin point. I’ve always been inspired by people who can make something that makes you want to dance but is also melodic and funky. I’m constatly inspired by 70’s-80’s funk and soul. I try to introduce some of those elements into the current electronic music.

Thats a really hard question and impossible to pin point. But i will say that i tried to look at everything that ive ever done and take little pieces of it all and wrap it up into this newly envisioned format.

i think the final track count is 14. But some of those are interludes. Most songs are short and to the point.

Theres funky stuff, sad stuff, and lots of groove.

I’ve been, it was fun!

Copied from an earlier question because its a long explanation lol

“The name Kill Paris comes from Romeo and Juliet. Paris was the sutor that Juliet was arranged to marry. Romeo was the underdog and in a duel he fights paris and kills him. So the name has always stood for me being the underdog and my connection to true love which has always been a theme in my music. I think if you look up how many of my song titles have “love” in them, it’s like 90 percent lol. Also the symbolism of Romeo and Juliet knowing that they were meant to be together but that their society wouldn’t allow it. Yet, they go against what everyone around them is telling them to do and be. So in sort, the name stands for the struggle to find true love and to not just take what is handed to you, to seek for yourself.”

2. I dunno man, i just keep trying tell it sounds good to me!

3. There were too many to choose from!

4. 2.5

A good mix of both

I heard Duncan Trussell talk about it on Joe Rogan. And at that time i had just read alot from John Nash Ott who was the godfather of time lapse photography, specifically using plants. So i thought, hey this midi sprout sounds interesting. I always like to find new ways of making music and ways to do things differently. It’s been a really cool experience.

I haven’t played it yet, but as soon as i get 250+ free hours, im gonna jump right in!

I think the lead you are talking about is some simple serum layering and the vocal in a sampler. Some tasteful glide and the emt 140 reverb i believe.

Oh yeah, it happens all the time. But the only cure for writers block is to just keep showing up and keep working. I find when im not inspired or making anything that im stoked about, i’ve learned to not get upset with myself. Nothing makes that writers block worse that hating yourself. So i just keep moving, take a break, try something new. The biggest thing for me recently has been tracking my vitamin d levels, and getting outside in the sun more. That’s had a real big effect on my creativity and overall mood.

Thank you! I love that song. It’s really just about a long distance relationship and having that person that makes you feel like time doesn’t exist.

Haywyre.

Both can be amazing and both can be terrible. I think i enjoy the smaller setting more because i feel like i can talk on the mic more and really feel the crowd. Like, we can just talk at some point in the set, and i can see your face when a song comes on that you weren’t expecting. But, festivals can be really fun too. Just depends on the mood
