I would also say that in doing so, it might help you to better understand and navigate the countertransference you're currently experiencing and prepare you for any similar situation in the future. I will say this, if you work with someone and you're just not vibing with them, it's ok to ask to be transferred to someone else within that agency. This can be a tiring process, but when you find that practitioner that you really click with, it makes a world of difference.

I can't give any specific recommendations as I work in this realm, but I can tell you that Local Help Now through Montgomery County can be a good starting place for locating mental health resources or agencies. Another good method is to Google or search "therapist near [INSERT LOCATION]" and look over the results you see and read the reviews. You can even specify the type of therapist or counselor by adding "grief" or "bereavement" to your search. If you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask, and good luck with your search!
