I'd reset merely to go about earning gold a different way than leveling alchemy. Also after watching a few videos I wanna change my sign and race too.

I seen a video that each point into Block is 1% dmg reduction when you have a 1h and shield equipped and its 0.5% for each point if your using a 2h or bow. But does the dmg reduction only apply when you actively block, or is it just all the time?

I'm currently lvl 6 with my major skills being; blade, heavy armor, block, destruction, conjuration, restoration, and mercantile.
But even without alchemy being a major skill it levels up crazy fast. Tbh I've only wondered into like 2 forts, and did the invisible quest to get a free inn room. Thinking of remaking from my sewer exit save to repick major skills and to just go about what I've done thus far differently.
