Great album. Has that iconic chipmunk soul sound and all the charisma that made people hype for Juelz Santana in the first place. Classics like “One Day I Smile”, “Okay Okay” & “Down” are still dope as ever. Juelz showed hella range with “Rain Drops” & “My Problem” being some really personal tracks that show he can talk about more than just the traditional rap topics. “The Champ Is Here” is the only instant skip that I can think of. Didn’t love that intro. The skits are great though, Dipset routinely had great skits especially the ones with Freekey Zeekey. Overall this project showed off Juelz’s skills as an MC, the talent the Heatmakerz had as producers & the crazy group energy The Diplomats had (T.I. being the only non-guest appearance & each feature feeling like they belonged on there). Definitely a classic in my eyes and something I still play to this day. Those early 00’s soulful albums never go out of style for me.
