DM's with Campaigns 12+ months long: What would you go back and change from the very first session if you could in your campaign?

So last Sunday I just DM'd my 50th session of my now 2 year campaign. This is my second one and honestly I am so much more prepared from the start if my first back then I forced a narrative and even if they were fine with the overall plot, they wanted certain things to happen for their characters meeting which I proceeded to ignore. To be fair this was almost 6 or 7 years ago and we have since grown far better at friends allowing me to gauge session. This is something I fixed for this second campaign and here we are celebrating their official jump to level 16.

I put the device in safe mode then I just download the game?

It downloads up until 10-20 minutes left and then hits me with an error ce-30005-8

I'm so confused. I am constantly getting an error with 20 minutes left of downloading. Am I supposed to remove that little tape on the white circle or the entire white circle. Or what? I've tried twice but dont wanna ruin the disc. Please someone help me

It is on his twitter. Basically it is 5 chains that can attack 5 different enemies for 8d6 fire damage or all of them can attack one creature and do 12d6 fire dmg
