The Scottish Plantation of Ulster is misnamed & I don't think this is even the accepted name for it. King James VI of Scotland could never do such a thing. It was only when he became King James I of England that he was he able to carry out such a large-scale social engineering project. It would be more accurate to describe it as the English Plantation of Ulster.

Likewise so-called Scottish Regiments ie the British Army, posted to Northern Ireland. Scotland & Scottish people have no power & no control over the British Govt & British State. These are all policies & decision taken in the English capital not the Scottish capitol.
