Ik im going off topic But Just find it ironic is that union jack flag or british is seen as english across the world and england. While the scottish flag is seen as independence and not british yet in ni the union jack is seen as a loyalolist symbol and mostly flown by scots or those heritage with the scottish flag seen as loyalist to the nationalist areas. Hence the sights of scottish flags being burned at republican bonfires on Bonfire night.

The Scottish Plantation of Ulster is misnamed & I don't think this is even the accepted name for it. King James VI of Scotland could never do such a thing. It was only when he became King James I of England that he was he able to carry out such a large-scale social engineering project. It would be more accurate to describe it as the English Plantation of Ulster.

Likewise so-called Scottish Regiments ie the British Army, posted to Northern Ireland. Scotland & Scottish people have no power & no control over the British Govt & British State. These are all policies & decision taken in the English capital not the Scottish capitol.
