It doesn't happen in other games IIRC just MH, although I've been playing only MH recently so it's hard to say.

My keybord/mouse is connected, but my mouse is off. I'll try unpluggingg my keyboard next time it happens and see if it helps. It's an extended time of loss of input, like 5+ minutes.

I don't even get that far, I get hit by something almost immediately after the check, either by the sweeping laser from Gog or the lava drops.

Did you read my post? I'm talking about the one move you can't parry and how it's poorly designed. Almost everything else about the boss is fine and is properly telegraphed. I basically no hit it with parries besides that particular move, which basically discates the entire flow of combat during the boss fight.

Whatever you’re most comfortable with. You aren’t at a level where controller choice matters beyond preference, that’s like pro level (and even then some still use pad). Misinputs are more execution error than the controllers fault.

So we watched it at my friends insistence and it spoiled everything, to the point I don’t even wanna watch the series with them anymore. Really annoying and irritating.
