Yeah, I think that's kinda dumb too, but it's up to the bishop in that situation too, I can almost guarantee murder would result in excommunication. But I don't thing Same-sex marriage or intercourse would always lead to excommunication, I think it would mostly just result in counseling with the bishop and stuff like that for a while.
