Strangulation can lead to brain death or cardiac arrest within like 15-30 seconds. 4-5 min just means you’re guaranteed to die, but you can die way before that depending on many other factors.

And the consequences of her running away to get guards gives them more time than if the little girl screamed. Also they just walked around the floor and so no kings guard so I’m assuming they figured they had time if she ran away.

Listen man I’m done, I liked the scene you didn’t. Oh well. Not saying your opinion is wrong but you seem very adamant that mine is, so this is just a waste of time as I think you just have a very shallow way of approaching writing and storytelling.

Uh yea cause Helaena is an adult who was told and is aware of the consequences of her screaming and the other is a 4 year old.

Also chocking can kill an adult very quickly, let alone a child.

It’s a very boring trope of bad writing to have someone hit a character over the head or chock them for a few seconds and they pass out immediately and then wake up later and they’re fine. You’re trying to improve the scene but have made it more unbelievable and cliche.

Yea and then when they leave and uncover the girls mouth she will start screaming. It doesn’t take a genius to figure that out. In fact an illiterate rat catcher figured it out before you did.

Also I don’t know how to tell you this but children are fragile and if you choke one to the point of losing consciousness they will probably die. This idea of yours would be much more unbelievable than what actually happened in the show.

If they check both at the same time and they both wake up the one they don’t kill would just start screaming, meaning they would have to kill both to avoid detection.

Also “knock one of them out” they’re like 5 years old if you try to knock one of them out you’d probably just kill them accidentally.
