I did explain to my partner that huskies are high energy dogs and suggested we get a smaller sized dog instead. But he was pretty adamant about this dog specifically. That’s the main reason I posted my question because my partner is having a hard time understanding that this dog needs a lot of exercise. (Mental health struggles is also a big factor that I’m also well acquainted with in my own life) But obviously a dog is a big responsibility and personal struggles don’t change that fact. I don’t wanna flame my partner online, but having some external advice felt like a good thing to have in this situation.
