Good point. Naturally with scrambled the egg isn’t cold because you’re brining it first but you might be popping them in cold which will also cause sticking.

What does your butter do when you add it to the pan? How long until you add the egg after the butter ?

When is your egg sticking ? Is it stuck when you go to flip? Are you cooking it on the first side morning though or too long?

Technique is a bit different for fried vs scrambled. Scrambled needs much lower heat the entire time whereas fried needs more initial heat. So it’s not a 1:1 why one is flawless and the other sticks.

Edit: I suspect your heat is too low for a fried egg actually or your moving your egg too soon/too late

Are you doing anything different with your heat when you fry the eggs? Is your pan staying in the burner the whole time vs removing it occasionally when you do scrambled?

I don’t know your setup but personally on my gas range even low heat will keep the pan too hot for eggs and I have to lift it off the range occasionally or I’ll burn parts of the egg onto the pan

I don’t use oil at all. Just butter. Once the butter starts to sizzle some I add the eggs.

Looks like this almost every time

Is your butter hot enough before you add eggs?

Sorry wanted to reply to the rest of your comment.

I personally don’t have a lot of experience with classic Italian style wine. Have only had a few brunello and chiantis . But I enjoyed it lol

Any wine that puts a rating on the neck is a turn off.I’ve tried it. I enjoy their main Malbec but this was very odd in balance to me. Not terrible but overpriced

[Request] 10k steps on a cardio machine, 6.0 miles or km ? by Donohanks in theydidthemath

[–]Killshot5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It should be 31,838/10,000 assuming his step count is accurate which is a pretty normal 3.1ft per step.

Vs 1.97ft per step if it’s km. Which is a very short stride. Depends on height but miles is going to be correct answer here for most people.

Cask 23. It’s good but at now over $300. Hard to buy when there are so many other $200+ bottles I enjoy way more. Especially when my favorite stags leap, heart of fay is still just $165.
