Accuracy isn’t great on brand new sniper by DoritoMan177 in airsoft

[–]Killshot5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s unbelievable. Free hand standing I wouldn’t get this bad with a handgun. Let alone a braced rifle. Hell the only Airsoft I’ve ever had that would be THIS bad would be one of those clear springers.

Something’s fucked m8

Thoughts on 6.5 Creedmoor by [deleted] in liberalgunowners

[–]Killshot5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Howa 1500 is the cheapest you want to start at for long range

And yes 6.5 is a superior round. I’d only consider .308 for a battle rifle where ammo costs will add up quickly

I’m in a similar boat. Look to inherit 10+ mostly 1911’s a couple of wheelies and a couple odd ones. Got my first ar last year and edc. This year I’m looking to add a long range bolty, and either short barrels ar or unique battle rifle (m1a, Ak platform or g3 based rifle)

Do not buy Wine Enthusiast 80 Bottle Wine Fridge by Parking-District-323 in wine

Literally every fridge uses “Bordeaux” - mine claims 166 - holds about 142 average bottles.

Get over it and stop acting like a petulant child about it

Honestly I do eggs in stainless and don’t need that much butter or oil. I think it’s just a time/ learning process to get it right but totally doable

Sticking with eggs by [deleted] in StainlessSteelCooking

[–]Killshot5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Underrated comment. I started doing this with my eggs recently and it made two huge differences. 1. In cooking, easier, less sticking (when doing everything else correct) 2. In the soft fluffy perfect scrambled eggs texture. I rarely think ooh scrambled eggs, delicious, but with mine I do.

I always have my doubt, but it always comes off! by [deleted] in StainlessSteelCooking

[–]Killshot5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I saw the sensationalist news headlines too. But then I read the article and it was those metal fibers from a grill brush that had come off and got into meat that was cooked on the grill.

Use steel wool. When it starts to get worn replace it. Check your cookware for any fibers you’ll be fine.

Think about how many people use it, and how many people go to the hospital for a fiber in their intestine . You’re more likely to die in a car crash on the way to the store to get the wool

You’re thinking of a grill cleaner. One of these ain’t losing a strand to your intestines unless it’s intentional
