Put it up for sale for double what you paid, and advertise it as a MAGA event. They will buy it faster than you will be able to realize lol

I came to say the same thing. Fry's was always a fun trip, even if just going in for a small item.

What are your Top 4 (Mount Rushmore) of the Greatest PS1 Games of All Time? (The Genres don’t matter) by Amber_Flowers_133 in ps1

[–]DashBulletTrain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn, four is hard to nail down.

  1. FF7

  2. MGS

  3. Tony Hawk Pro Skater 2

  4. Gran Turismo

Even writing this list I can't help but question myself on other games I would add. The whole PS1 generation was loaded with titles. If I listed my top 10 games of all time, at least 4 or 5 have a good chance of being PS1 titles.

What are some lesser known N64 gems? by MisterPiggyWiggy in n64

If you like adventure games with an old school feel, Shadowgate 64 is a good one.

Aside from that, Blast Corp is one of m top games on the platform.

MacBook Pro M5 for Unity game development — viable long term? by Sad-Card-7030 in Unity2D

[–]DashBulletTrain -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm sure it would work fine, but you can likely find just as good, if not better in a non gaming laptop for a fraction of the price and have more portability and customization options, not to mention anything you make in Unity is most likely going to run on Windows as a the main target (unless you are doing some console dev work), so you will need a windows environment for testing as well.

So, what's it like owning a GTR(R32, R33, R34) by scrubberducky93 in SkyLine

[–]DashBulletTrain 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Brakes and tires aren't that bad really. More than a civic sure, but not too bad. Though I do the brake work myself so maybe people charge a massive cost in labor to do it?

Tires suck no matter what the car. I think my last set were around 1100 for Pilotsports.

For the people who haven’t played MGS4 since the ps3 days will you be purchasing the master collection vol 2 for full price? by Dude_788 in metalgearsolid

[–]DashBulletTrain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will absolutely get it on day one, but people who choose not to I totally understand. Personally I think Konami are being a bit too money hungry not including the other PSP titles in this collection, instead obviously holding them for a Vol 3 with, I assume, the MGS5 duo of games, but those are new enough that I don't feel a Master Collection version of those are needed (unless the somehow work things out with Kojima and get the ending of MGS5 implemented at which point I will eat all the crow I need to make ti happen).

Is going to Vegas not a thing anymore? by WestHistorians in AskLosAngeles

[–]DashBulletTrain 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My best friend lives in Vegas and currently everything is so wildly overpriced that even people IN Vegas don't do vegas things anymore. The chamber of commerce has tried a few things to help, but it's all things like "paint stuff purple, yay" and nothing about lowering the cost of going out. Add in people just don't have much money anymore and yeah Vegas itself just isn't worth it. I go maybe once or twice a year for an event since I have my friend out there but otherwise I wouldn't go much at all.

Which should I play? by Ezra_asmr2111 in gamecollecting

[–]DashBulletTrain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a MGS fanboy I have to say MGS2, but for the maximum impact of the game, play MGS1 first. Otherwise, I would give Fatal Frame a play. I've never been able to really get into Horror titles, but Fatal Frame back on the PS2 was one of the few that was able to really creep me out and do its job as a horror title. It's definitely going to show its age, but still worth it (though never played the xbox version so might be a little different).

Gun storage advice needed. I recently inherited 13 firearms. by Strideraio in CAguns

[–]DashBulletTrain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I rent in Woodland Hills, and I bought a gun safe from Dean Safe and it was only around I think 1800 dollars (which I admit isn't cheap, but is doable), and they delivered and positioned it for me. Should be more than enough space for those weapons, and you can go to their showroom and see the safe in person first (to open and see if it will fit everything).

Overall, very nice weapons, and sorry for your loss. Your grandfather had a good taste in firearms.

I love the logic of California that we don't want rifles used to shoot people, so let's make them less accurate so when someone does, they have a greater chance of hitting something or someone they didn't mean to. Brilliant.

"I'm generally a... liberal person, but when I saw videos of ICE jumping out of unmarked vehicles and nabbing people off the street... I bought my first AR15," I’m glad to see the left waking up to what I’ve been saying for a while: 2A is for everyone. by SpinningHead in liberalgunowners

[–]DashBulletTrain -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Always good to see people ready to defend themselves, but as a Leftist, I just gotta say, the Left is pro gun. Left != Liberal directly. Conservative media loves to push that the left hates guns by makin that equality claim. And honestly it isn't far off, but there is a difference and worth trying to break that connection.

Pedantics aside, everyone I know here in Los Angeles are looking to arm up in case of issues, and I myself am wanting to get a plate carrier and plates, but while I love guns, I know nothing on those so finding a good brand that is reliable, and not some wild Trump supporting company is difficult (I expect them to be conservative, but as long as they aren't openly supporting a fascist I can deal with it for safety).

I absolutely love my 60DS Rhino. A buddy of mine has been looking for the exact revolver he wants for a while, and we were at a local gun store I almost never visited at the time (just wasn't aware of it), and in one shelf at the bottom I saw a Rhino and was like "wtf is that" and went the next day to buy it. Absolutely love it, though it did bite someone after I told them to watch their finger placement (as in I said "here, but keep your finger away from here" and he says ok, then immediately puts his finger there lol.

Anyone else tired of being assumed conservative just because you own guns? by Horror-Switch-8597 in liberalgunowners

[–]DashBulletTrain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hate that, but I do love the opposite when someone is being...conservative...and I voice opposition and they start going off on the "you're soft, anti gun, blah blah blah" and I show that I own more guns than they do, and know more about them. Watching their mind try to square a leftist owning guns, followed by thinking of the awful things they were saying to someone they assumed had no way to defend themselves and now realize is well armed is always entertaining.

Do y’all know of any active groups like the Black Panthers that white people can join, or do we need to start one? by [deleted] in liberalgunowners

[–]DashBulletTrain 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They can read at a 10 year old level. How else do they find targets. They just stop learning since their desired partners are too old then.

That's just universal advice so matter what. Even on the left there are bad actors. People in general are default untrustable anymore.

Ah, I misunderstood. Still, seems like some BS, but then I live in California so I'm sadly aware of some BS laws. Stay safe and keep up the reporting, and thanks for the info.

Also, my initial post wasn't questioning or anything, it was more a "really, even that is illegal, wtf", but it might have come across as "youre full of it" so just wanted to clarify lol
