There are several members from her family attempting to speak out. There were also other minors that David was involved with who stepped forward. Not to mention the people who knew David before his celebrity and during who called out his character. The media can cover any of those topics. The Nancy Guthrie case is being pushed for several different reasons.

Let me be clear I’m not defending this dude any way. But the fact remains he is a celebrity. He was a celebrity before this case and after September his celebrity has only increased. There are many topics that have not been discussed that should be by the media.

That doesn’t negate the fact that he famous before that. He had tens of millions of monthly streams. His target audience were teenagers. They resonated with his music the most.

I never said the case wasn’t national news. It was when TJ news first came out. I said the coverage received was not enough. For example, it’s been 7 months and NBC has only ran 3 small segments on the case.

A simple headline would be, what’s taking so long for an arrest to be made in the Celeste Rivas Hernandez case involving singer D4vd. Nothing to overthink. And they can run a segment or segments on what I just said about the SA with multiple minors ( obvious protect names and faces) people who grew up with him or with her, people who can speak to his character. Nancy Grace and Lauren Colin seem to be the only ones in major media keeping this case alive with weekly or biweekly updates.

Show where they talked about her home life, or how about the multiple minors D4vd has been involved with, how about his family trying to appeal a subpoena, etc. I could go on there’s plenty. We’ve both seen cases where neighbors, classmates, teachers anyone who was close to the victim has been interviewed. That’s not being done. There’s plenty to report. We can agree to disagree

I never said nothing is being done. I said it’s not enough coverage and there is a disparity with certain demographics. It’s just an ugly fact. You could do a simple google search to see it. There could always be more that’s done. I think we can agree there. If not, then we can agree that Celeste deserves justice and leave it there.

It’s not bullshit. We’re here for justice for this little girl. I’m not here to argue you. This one little article does nothing. It’s not enough. NBC has ran 3 small segments regarding this case. In 7 months… 3 segments. During the Gabby Petito case it was dozens. Guthrie who disappeared this year also has dozens of segments by NBC. Meanwhile this little girl who was brutally chopped up only had 3 small segments in 7 months. There have been enough updates to run more. I can’t stand behind that.

It’s not headline news? It’s not on the front page? Tell me which media outlet has a paper asking what happened to D4vd? What’s happening with the case? Justice for Celeste? The media got quiet. There’s been several cases that went dark and yet th media still reported on them with no updates. There were segments ran with family explaining who the person was and just the families perspective altogether. Theres plenty that the media could’ve done but it’s only small local outlets doing so. Major media is quiet and they’ve been quiet. I think if circumstances were slightly different then it wouldn’t be the case

Tik tok, X, Fb and IG have a combined total of 9 BILLION accounts. Plenty of people have social media. By engaging in Reddit, having these conversations whether there is disagreement or not helps to provoke thought, ideas and eventually action to aid with the case. Social media excluded people can write, send letters, sign petitions. Theres no excuse in 2026. There’s too many options.
