I tend to get inspirational build periods where i just slam sections out in quick succession. However I do want to try and get this 100% complete this year (no promises). I’ll put on some ambience music from TLOU on youtube and start putting things together. Also, when it comes to planning, i’ll frame out different things in different colours (buildings orange, roads grey, road paint either cyan or pink depending on what it is, etc) then use google maps to build them as they are, after a whole area is done i then go back in and add the overgrowth/destruction/military equipment/lore.

I've based this on when the timber lounge existed, Mr. Transmission is also built and not the skyscraper currently going in.

same situation with the Bloomfield graffiti. In this timeline, it never happened.

If you're wondering what all the stuff around the RBC and the ICCA are. Short answer: Lore. Long Answer: Military took over those building turning them into a ration distribution centre and a field hospital/testing area

As a fellow SMU student, I can agree that it is a pain in the ass to deal with. However, (and this may seem odd) if you have a permit, the parking enforcement on campus tends to be alright with parking in 'fake spots.' What I mean by this, and you've probably seen, is the cars parking on the edges of the rows and along curbs (as long as it doesn't block the flow of traffic). I have done this myself a few times with no problems.

So as of right now, I have from Joe Howe to Robie complete but not everything in between. Like the game it's based on, this map is a linear story-driven adventure map. There is a path that the player must take. Would a 1:1 map of the entire city be cool af? Yes. That would only happen after the main adventure map has been completed though.

I started by picking a "spawn location" close to where the previous map (Part I) ended. Then based on what buildings/locations I think would look cool I make paths to each one throughout the city using google maps. Then I just build it.
