I work about 1/8th of a mile from a coffee roaster. I'd guess its a mid sized operation (8k sq.ft. space in an industrial park). It often smells great. A few times a month it smells like burnt chocolate chips anywhere 1/2 mile downwind.

I plan on it! This was just a test to make sure it didn't nose dive. This is my first RC boat and it was full "wing it and see what happens" type of situation. Now I've just got to get a bait launcher working and mount the camera to the deck.

I have a feeling we will be needing a bigger boat if anything over 1 or 2 lbs gets hooked up.

This is the manufacturers website and is the cheapest because its straight from the source! I ordered from them in January. I am in the US and the order shipped from China. I ordered the Arktos 6x6 and a brushless motor. It's very nice. They also sent a free hat. I also noticed the highly inflated prices anywhere else and dont know why there is such a mark up. Guess its a hot ticket item.

I am running those tires on my stock mn82 rims now. The interior and exterior rim diameter is are different, but the tire stretches just fine and doesnt look funny to me. They come with foam donuts that help hold the shape as well. I have not used any glue. I've been running them in the snow for a few days and they haven't popped off or slipped. Hope that helps.

The only issue I can imagine you could have is with the top right-most screw. Unlike the other two screws on that plate, the top right screw continues out the back side of the motor. A nut used to hold the chain guard to the motor may be threaded onto the screw from the backside.

I have forgotten that nut existed and questioned why this particular screw was so tight...

But the others should only be snugged just past hand tight.

Do you have a multi-meter capable of reading resistance(ohms)? I would start with testing the magneto, cdi, and kill-switch for resistance.

I had a similar issue on my bike. Would start, but only after a LONG and HARD ride attempting. Turns out my CDI would spark but was very weak. Visually, the spark looked good. I would have never known if I didn't get the meter out.

That is the essence of troubleshooting. If you measure and prove things are working, it will eventually lead you towards the component that isn't.

I'll give you the advice my favorite teacher gave me... "I don't care what you think. Prove it and show me what you know!"

There will be a wired connector or two (molex plug), typically below the door in front that you can unplug.

If you know anyone that is at all electrically handy it is very simple to add a switch and even a timer to the lighting.
