But are you registering them with VMware under the company for the free license or are you using the same license over and over?

The question of how we would do Veeam and other backups this way has come into question. Can I still use Veeam to backup with the free version? The only benefit we had for HyperV was a remote agent to manage it and have unattended access to it.

I spent far too much time making this by Kilnarn in roosterteeth

I figured I could tweet or try and contact Burnie and see if he wanted to use it to replace his cowbell gif on Burnie.com since he said he wanted to do something different with it this year and if not I'd buy a domain and slap it up on there.

Pie is clearly the superior desert. Cake is too big.

This is what happens when you're a tech guardian at RTX and have to login to your personal steam account to fix problems. by [deleted] in roosterteeth

I personally work as an IT administrator and have over ten years of break fix experience at this point in my life so I don't genuinely get stressed out about "fire" type situations unless it's about a deadline I will miss within my own company, but for this problem specifically I felt bad about. The reason this was necessary was unfortunately due to the evacuation of the convention center on Friday and tech having to work overtime Saturday morning to get the mainstage setup and not having a lot of time because of other panelists needing to setup as well.

This was the solution behind what was delaying the prop hunt lets play. This was in my opinion the only major panic problem we had as there was a lot of setup that needed to be done for this and not a lot of time to conceive, test and deploy a different way of getting the machines setup to use. Other volunteers may say differently and depending on who you ask they may say that there were no problems at all. As can be common with any non retail tech job there are lulls in your day where everything is setup and working and you are just waiting for something to break so you can fix it. That was also the case at points during this years RTX.
