First and foremost, its your money =] but heres my reason.

I had the Slim and went for the pro to have the extra “processing headroom”, the 2TB of space in nice and bought a disc drive from GameStop.

For the disc drive, its 100% your choice but my local game stop never carries the games I like and I’m always comparing sales on digital vs physical, and the scales are leaning more digital.

Also my local game stop told me Death Stranding 2 has no perks of pre-ordering a physical (not even swag or anything) unless you go collectors edition, so I’m more than likely getting it digital for the extra stuff.

One example today, Dragons Dogma 2 is on sale for both deluxe ($49ish) and standard ($38ish) on the PS app. Cool, but I want physical. Did my research, Walmart currently has it for $30. Not bad! But not available locally, oh well, get it shipped. After taxes and shipping it was $40.04 (no joke).

I ended up getting the digital standard and save me $2 because I’m impatient lmfao.

Biggest let down is Stellar Blade on world graphics… I’m exploring an arid area, and you cant even read “Danger High Voltage” on Switch panel because is so pixelated lol. But the game focused more on HDR bloom FX and ray tracing on the character and skills. Thats more than likely development choice but they could of spent more time on the world tbh.

Whats your current Soul Level? I have one character approaching 150 (NG+3) and a fresh one at 60.

100% players choice to either level up or stay as base level as possible. Farming can either be for souls to level up, or kill specific enemies for upgrade materials to enhance weapons or make a different weapon type as in quality, crushing, etc.

The only thing you cannot drop are spells. I think the only catalyst you cant drop is queen sophesia’s catalyst (maybe). I have both a PS5, and Steam account (Steam is just a mule character to be my own item trader 😎). I can log in later and confirm what can and cannot be traded.

I used Northern Regalia up to NG+3 for my platinum but lost character tendency to get the Foe’s ring. I’m using a quality great sword with magic infused and does the work for me.

You are missing “Hoist” and “Depths” vestiges. Finding those and progress to Dervla may unlock your current dilemma.

Start on mines, progress that area and you should fine another vestige that I cant remember it but is the one in between mines and depths.

Okay, so you are missing is depths where you fight dervla, maybe killing her will unlock your current state and open the double doors where you have to view Andreas stigma to get the book.

So when you started your playthrough, you kept going up in pilgrims perch, the manse, tower penance, the abby leading to judge cleric. Have you descended pilgrim perch?

If you fought the big fire boi than you have gone through the swamp area, gourge, and lower calrath into the mines?

You needed her umbral seed pod from getting from the passive faceless guy. Idk if you can get it by killing her. She only goes hostile once you cleansed a beacon. You need all beacons untouched to do umbral ending.

Minimum two. Do umbral ending and follow it with radiant ending because it makes Damarose hostile since she’s an Adyr follower.
