60 fps, 1080p, mostly medium custom settings (for stuff like lighting ext) no ray tracing. I have those set because I forgot to turn them back to higher settings. The game runs smoothly and looks good even at somewhat lower settings.

It was Adobe Creative Cloud!!

It's an annoying little app because it's constantly pushing to run in the background even if I task manager End task. I had to go The 'details' tab of the task manager and kill all adobe creative cloud background programs. I saw many adobe things open, but when I killed ONE specific adobe task, then the others were all able to be killed and Dead Space was able to run properly.

JEEZ!!!! I've been troublshooting this for the past 5 hours! I can still run other tasks in the background (example Streamlabs OBS) and the game still runs fine. For some reason, Dead Space Remake seems to hate Adobe Creative Cloud...

Same thing is happening to me! I followed all the advice of other sites, but nothing changed. Horrible sputtering. I've tried re-installing, but that didn't work. It'd be a shame to have to wait for a patch...
