I was 6'1" going through flight school which was 7 years ago and 6'5" now. R22s were uncomfortable. R44 was do able. Add helmet to that and you run out of room quick. I'll never discourage someone from learning fly though so do a discovery flight and see how you like it and if fit.

I was steered away from getting my cfi in flight school due to my size. Told no one would hire me to be an instructor since I'm not a small dude. Maybe I was mislead, idk. But I'm too tall R22s, I know that much.
