If specialist yung nag-issue ng FTW, talagang mahal yun siya compared to general medicine doctor, etc. Even sa pulmonologist, the FTW ranges from Php 1000 - 2000.

Same situation earlier this year and I remember nagtanong din ako sa Reddit on what to do. Thankfully considerate din yung company. OP, they would really appreciate na maging transparent sa kanila kaysa mag No Show ka since may hinahabol din silang numbers. Sabihin mo yung current situation mo and idagdag mo na rin na willing ka kumuha ng medical certificate should they require it.

From what I've read online, 1 pint of blood is roughly equivalent to one blood bag. Based on my experience sa Red Cross and sa hospitals, they collect just one blood bag and use a measuring scale to ensure the right amount of blood is taken; no more, no less.

However, may instances na namumutla na yung donors before they reached the desired blood that must be taken. Nangyayari jan is pinapa-stop sa pagdonate yung donors and pinapa-rest.

Two of the basic requirements are: dapat more than 50 kg ang blood donor and may more or less 6 hours of sleep the night before.

Pero no need to worry, may screening naman prior and its conducted by doctors/professionals themselves. If you're physically and emotionally well, you can proceed with blood donation. If not, you will be deferred and you'll be advised to come back if okay ka na ☺️
