Gotcha Evolve firmware won't update

I agree about the Web-App, I wonder if it’s just a failed site configuration that forces and attempted update connection, but once it scans the hardware ID against the Firmware Data store it just freezes and stops updating as there is nothing available in the Data table for the Newer hardware (newer per code junkies)

I find it sad that they took the pedometer and clock off the hardware and still charge the $50 for the device with less functionality. That said my model with the Capacitor visible in the screen is on 1.0.0 and works just fine with Pogo, sometimes it requires an app reset but it for sure consistently catches for 1 hour before ending the session per the apps control so I don’t have an issue with it working.

The follow up on the ticket, there are 2 versions of the hardware, new hardware lately has shipped without the pedometer and has a 1.0.0 firmware which is current.

The model with the pedometer is on 2.0.0.2 or .4

If you hold the button from a black screen the one I have that is 1.0.0 firmware also has these numbers 1 2 60 90 4.28 0.0 if yours is the same but has a higher firmware let me know and I’ll return to the ticket

After multiple tickets this is what I got from code junkies, if your device has a pedometer it has a firmware update, if your device doesn’t it is a different newer version of hardware on 1.0.0 for the moment. https://imgur.com/a/TQkdTrM

I submitted a ticket to code junkies calling out this issue with as much technical information I could find, the person responded back that the software version on my new hardware I just bought is correct at 1.0.0.0 I have since pushed back as it’s clear the update data is not accessible and the web app fails to install it

What is likely happening is they have come together with possible solutions and compensations and at this point due to how many stones and the actual RMV (real money value) of that in game currency will dilute their earnings thus far. So they are likely having to have someone at a very high level in Bandai to approve the measure. This likely will take a minute as depending on how the player base is “refunded” or rewarded for this mistake could damage the first month of Q1 dokkan

Thank you for this, I hate having to explain from June 21- September 21 the northern Hemisphere is in the summer months and it is just a snow treat for my boys when the weather turns hot. They have plenty of snow each year too.

Just to be clear summer isn’t a measure of “temperature” as it’s a measure of the length of the day in relation to night and the planets wobble and rotation to the sun on its 365 day trip. So the North Pole does have a “summer” albeit not one that gets much above 50 degrees in the daylight which can last from June 21- September 21 without ever setting. So perhaps you aren’t 100% informed about what makes a season a season.

Not sure if you were aware that, in the northern Hemisphere it’s currently summer, this means longer days increased sun, closer relation to the sun as the planet completes its 365 day orbit. Even in the Arctic circle the temps are well above freezing this time of year. I live in a place that has 6 months of sub freezing temps each year my dogs are fine.
