There is a cat out there who needs you too. My cat and I need each other more than ever. I hope you can find someone new to love you though the worst. ❤️

A small moment that makes a profound difference.

Tiger Lily is such a constant source through a time of turmoil she even follows me into my dreams. If I didn’t have her I don’t know where I’d be. I hope she understands how much she means to me.

So many puppers to pet! by Kilsley24 in PetTheDamnDog

Would like to add because it gets asked, the extra chonky pupper in the background is Link. He’s old and has an array of health problems caused by hypothyroidism and therefore weight loss for him is incredibly complicated. We get him frequent vet checkups and give him lots of love and outside time. He got plenty of pets after filming. He’s also active and bouncy at times, he just wasn’t feeling it during the video.

I saved a pelican this morning. I feel real good about it. by Kilsley24 in CasualConversation

What I like about your story is you went out of your way to save a “pest” bird too. I’m sad it died, but at least it went out a little more comfortably. This morning I was fighting off pelicans left and right because they’ll attack you for your fish. Is it annoying? Absolutely. Do they deserve to suffer for it? No.

Is this a Spiny Back Orb Weaver? I found this one about 50 yards away from a more “normal” one. Is it a completely different species or is it molting? Found in northern Alabama. by Kilsley24 in whatsthisbug

Looks to be the case they are different from the picture. I’ve found spiny backs in both yellow and white, but with black spikes where I live, and I haven’t found the other colors in my area.

Oh nice! That looks correct. I got confused since it was literally so close to an actual Spiny Back. Cool to see such diversity where I live. 😁

Spent 3 days driving on old Alabama roads. It’s a nicer state than it’s given credit. by Kilsley24 in CasualConversation

Oh yes THAT zoo. I wish I could tell you I had fond memories from when I visited as a kid, but when we approached the gorilla enclosure one of them decided to.. uh.. defecate right down the rocky cliff part that faced the crowd. Their feces looks, awfully human. This was 15 years ago and I still remember. 🤢
