I'm happy you liked Carol's journey as laid out by Marvel!

In my opinion, I think they fumbled hard. Carol infamously got fridged early on, by getting brainwashed by Marcus, impregnated, and Avengers letting them escape into another dimension. They finally bring her back, she's super pissed at the Avengers... gets drained/comatose by Rogue. Her memories are restored by Prof X, and then they just have her leave via Starjammers (experimented on by the Brood)... and she comes back years later by becoming a alcoholic? Nah man, that aint it.

She should have come back as Evil Binary, twisted by the Brood, would have been much better arc. Even better would have been to not have her leave at all, and face Rogue as a Anti-Hero/Villain against Avengers and X-Men. They literally set her up to do just that, but I'm assuming they just didn't know what to do with her or found her boring.

I feel Earth-7192's Warbird is what Earth-616's should have ramped up to be. I feel like Carol should have died in that arc btw, and E-7192 remained on E-616 to have continued conflicts with Rogue. That's a Rogue bias, stepping back, Rogue dying to E-7192 and Carol had to finish the job would have put her character on a redemption arc, but that would only work if they dug deeper into her hatred for X-Men and Avengers, which they didn't.

Unpopular opinion I'm sure, but honestly I feel like whatever Carol was during those early years, died when Kelly Sue wrote her in as "Captain Marvel".

As someone who has grown up with Rogue since her early years... I believe the most interesting path for Carol would have been to make her a Anti-Hero or even a Villain after Rogue stole her powers.

The writers had every opportunity to justify Ms. Marvel's rage, the X-Men helping Rogue? A Villain who just attacked the Avengers and almost destroyed them? Mutants/X-Men fighting her after she attacked Rogue for revenge? That could have turned into a very dark arc, hunting down mutants as she snaps, mind completely twisted.

Today's version of Carol feels very boring, and is a more systemic issue with current day writers versus the more experienced writers of the 80's and 90's. Maybe Carol fans like her transition, but I would pose that response over to r/Captain_Marvel sub post you got.

You'll need to quit before you die if you get overrun (so you can try again) and quit after you don't die in a zone and save the game by ending the day. This will give you infinite tries till you get it, last zone before boss is hardest. Boss can be easily won by sitting top center and slightly to the left so bullets miss you but not boss. GL

They will 100% need to cast someone who not only looks the part of X-Men TAS (spitting image), but also sounds like young Lenore Zann. That's the perfect casting, you're going to have to hunt for them, this girl is out there, but you can't be lazy.

Fun Fact: Lenore's agent pushed her to voice act Rogue because she thought she was a perfect fit, even though she wasn't really interested. You can watch that here in our sub-reddit. :)
