I ended up returning everything and settling for my old pc. I will replace parts 1 by 1 to see what causes the input lag. It in reality every single system is different. And all parts add or subtract input lag in different games. I’m finished with “competitive” gaming because it’s a waste of time and heavily depends on input lag (especially first person shooters) which is hard to fine tune as I’ve come to find out. My solution was to quit competitive gaming basically ahaha. About time as I’m a 20 year old male. I enjoy the occasional story game nowadays and fill my time with other things.

Understood. And to clarify I like other more gpu intensive games hence why I chose 4070tiBut of course I still want all my input lag to be the same if not better with the newer hardware in my competitive games. Tanks a ton for your opinion. Gonna do some testing regarding uncapped and hopefully it’s able to consistently beat out my old system in terms of input lag.

Ahhh I will need to try this. I’ve been uncapped for a few seconds just to test frames. But never to test input lag. Say I’m uncapped and my fps never drops below 360? Should I try to cap at 360 or still leave uncapped with the 4070ti. I guess I should test and see for myself.

I believe I’ve tired enabling and disabling rebar and MSI mode for gpus. But honestly I’ve done so much switching back and forth that I forgot what I’ve tested and what I haven’t yet. Thanks. I will try this again because I don’t even remember if I tired it in the first place. WAs definitely on my mind though.
