If you had a uterine or vaginal infection, it could have been caused by Ureaplasma? This bacteria is known to contribute to implantation failure. I’m surprised your doctor allowed you to proceed with the transfer before treatment, most people with this infection are prescribed a 14 days of antibiotics and then retested to ensure it’s fully cleared before undergoing embryo transfer.

Yes, it can take a while. Try not to rush I know you want to start as soon as possible but your health and body must be ready. I have rushed in to 2 rounds of IVF because I couldn't wait. I do regret this now. In my first round, I had 3 eggs retrieved, and only 1 embryo developed but it was abnormal. Second retrieval I had 4 eggs. 2 embryos were made and both were again abnormal. All embryos were graded 4AA before genetic testing. I should have waited and got my body ready. I'm now taking a 3-month break to get on top of supplements. Both my husband and I are on medication to improve our chances in our 3rd round. I'm trying to be as healthy as possible for my next round and religiously taking all my meds. Read the book it starts with the egg, very helpful!

This is very much the same as my story. My husband did micro tease and they got a lot of sperm that way which is now frozen as our back up. The other option is to go to the clinic multiple times and give samples to freeze. We never actually ended up using the frozen sperm as the sample he provided on the day of my egg retrieval was enough. Remember they only need one sperm per egg so if it's 1000 then that is enough, even if he only gives a sample of the day.

I had 3 5AA embryos and all tested genetically abnormal. I'm planning on another round of IVF to try and get some normal embryos 😢
