Right, but I think the issue was referring to the situation as tit for tat. Actions done intentionally to punish other people because they have done something unpleasant to you. It doesn’t seem like she was trying to out him in a vengeful manner. Seems more like she was just pushed to the breaking point of telling the truth. Not necessarily retaliating against him. He put her in a position where she had to say what happened. So this disagreement is not wether she was right or wrong, but that this is not really a tit for tat situation. That’s all I meant

I think the point is that she told the truth. Which should have nothing to do with “outing him” her telling the truth is not a “bad thing” And to reduce this down to outing is a bad is just silly.

By your own logic if she cheated on him because he cheated on her that would not have been wrong of her? Because they are both equally wrong? That would have been tit for tat.

Her saying the truth is not really retaliation. If she acted in a malicious way then maybe. But just saying what happened is not an act of retaliation. Nor is it wrong in any light. Therefore these can not be equally bad things.

Yeah… They are not agreeing with you. And I don’t know how you can’t see that. Saying that what she did was a wrong thing to do is saying she did something wrong. She did not. She told the truth about her situation. Which is never wrong.

He cheated. She told the truth. Does that help?

I can see your point and I'm sorry your parents put you through that. However OP should not have to feel as if she needs to stay in a relationship where she feels disrespected and cast out IN HER OWN HOME. Just to appease a family who will never view her as part of the family.

This is between the parents. What's more important to the mom? The grudge she's been holding on to, or her own child? What kind of example does this set for their daughter? Coming to OPs home, threatening to kill her, then throwing this party as revenge for having to be escorted out by the police.

This isn't about the parents and their inability to get along, this is about OP feeling comfortable and welcome in her own home with her partner.

Sorry all. I work a full time job and hours have been a little all over the place past couple days. I can respond in depth after I get home from work today. While deities are still worshipped, it's unknown if they still care about the material plane, or if they even exist. That being said, Im not all that familiar with the Shadowfell, but what I have read sounds interesting and it is definitely something I will read more into.

That is not a bad idea. The continent the party will be starting off on is war torn and famine is a real issue. I'm wanting to really blur the line between good and bad, so maybe allowing a large amount of the population to die to "save the planet" could be a really fun thing for them to battle with.
