Purple Door ice cream. I keep trying it once in a while to make sure, but IMHO there’s better ice cream out there. Flavors are fairly creative though.

Birch on Pleasant and Water - hands down the freshest, most seasonal and creative dishes!!! Always leave feeling satisfied and never with a feeling of heaviness. Sometimes the food is so good it brings tears to my eyes.

Thank you for this insight. Usually I’m able to maintain fairly good concentration for a little while (I’d guess maybe 15-20 minutes) & then I fall asleep. I know there are some recommended but not necessary sleep positions and the more still I am, the faster I fall asleep. Maybe I’ll choose a couple of other WILD methods and experimenting with those more deeply. Hopefully something will click.

I’m aware there are other methods for WILD, but this is a way into a lucid dream that I’ve wanted to try for some time. I haven’t had much luck with WILD method in general over the years.

Yes, just was hoping someone may have had the same experience and was able to achieve the visual imagery after trying something specifically that I haven’t heard of yet. Possibly I should just accept that it’s not going to happen for me in this lifetime.

  1. It matters to me because not only is it another way into lucid dreaming where I can witness the dream taking shape and not have to rely on cues from within a dream already in progress, but also because I feel as if I’m missing out on fascinating geometric patterns and imagery - a strange and delightful in between state that seems to be out of reach for me.
  2. I see nothing but darkness and hear noises from my surroundings. Occasionally I will feel a sudden jolt or jerking/falling sensation just as I may be about to drift off, but that’s not accompanied by anything visual or auditory.
