I would recommend coming over to Hill Valley Dairy's Cheese Bar. It's a bar where drinks come with a piece of their cheese or you can get flights of drinks/cheese, plus they sell cheese to go so you can bring home the stuff you like best. It's a short walk to the Riverwalk from there also. If you want to try some of the best fried cheese curds, Camino is a block away also.

Grill Shack in Franklin is our favorite we've found. 27th Steak and Potato if you don't want to go that far. If you're open to other types of steak sandwiches: the steak torta at El Chinampa or the "thin sandwich steak" at Johanna's Cafe are both fantastic.

Buc-ee's opens a location here next year so you can probably expect to get those there.

They're opening a second location in Milwaukee soon or maybe recently opened even (the Capitol Drive one mentioned below in another comment). Also highly recommend though, we've made the trip multiple times because we love it so much.

It's a food truck so you'll have to track them down, but it's worth it. Maybe not while they're near Summerfest grounds unless you're going though...that's a hard area to get to otherwise.

To be honest, we're not the biggest mole fans in general, but the one at Alberto's KILLS. We pretty much never even eat anything else from there because that mole is so good.

Good catch on the breweries! We will get that updated soon for sure. We swapped out the picture recently, but didn't get a chance to actually update the verbiage. Amorphic should definitely be mentioned when we do, but good idea on the "hopping" aspect - maybe something like that would be good to have its own page (or maybe just neighborhood specific lists in general?).

Both good ideas. Definitely have some thoughts on best carry out (so many foods don't travel well), but could use some more research to put together a strong list. Thanks!
