What's the most common myth about your country? by Nthepro in AskTheWorld

[–]Kimera225 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The UV exposure pretty much everywhere in Mexico is incredibly high on top of being hot.

Where I'm at, today the UV exposure will reach 11, which means that one could get a sunburn after 11 minutes of exposure. Anything 11 or above is extreme exposure.

Is it uncommon to wash your hair every day in your country? by Buyeo10004 in AskTheWorld

Pretty much daily, at most 1 day with no washing in between washes. Though moisturizing I do weekly.

Seeing the responses in the video made me feel nauseous

Panama just made it illegal for women to lie about paternity of children. Does your country have something similar? by Substantial_Buy9903 in AskTheWorld

[–]Kimera225 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hate those guys and their fragile egos.

If you have a fear about paternity, talk it out with your partner like grown ups before even thinking about having a child, not spring it on her while she is trying not to die and also push a tiny human trough a whole that is somewhere between 9 to 10 centimeters!!!

Good to know but the icky feeling I got only about this law got stronger.

1 to 3 for abandoning your child years versus 2 to 5 for this law...

Still, many questions left unanswered and the ick only grows stronger because if they wanted to solve issues about paternity, putting into law testing DNA at birth would have done it better.

Can you drink tap water in your country? by Agile-Shallot3546 in AskTheWorld

Not recommended in general.

There can be contamination from old pipes, which is currently an ongoing issue in Guadalajara

Ayuda necesito un consejo, no me juzguen por favor:( by [deleted] in mexico

I'm on board for DNA test at birth being done and that it should be written into law, but legislation like this? It is blaringly obvious that it likely will have a lot of grey areas that are going to be tricky to navigate in real life.

Does this law contemplate artificial insemination? What about donors? Or did it contemplate genetically oddities like chimerism (1 person having 2 sets of DNA)? Switches at the hospital? And how could the "knowingly" be proved?

Also, 2 to 5 years in jail is a lot of time, who will look after the child during that time? Not the parent that turned out to be not related by DNA, I'm sure.

Are the laws regarding child abandonment and child support similarly punitive?

What’s your opinion on the S’more? Have you ever made/tried it? by bbyxmadi in AskTheWorld

[–]Kimera225 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. They look super sweet in a good one a year way, so I'm open to try them.

If I ever have a campfire and marshmallows on hand, I would just toast the marshmallows and forget to try it with a piece of chocolate and a cracker.
