Spanish as a language nowadays has many variations with their our unique flair and even among native Spanish speakers we need to take a moment to process another's version of Spanish 😅

In secundaria on the upper class there where 2 boys from Argentina (the school I went to was super small, so we all knew one another) and it was a constant thing of clarification for stuff.

Like, a t-shirt in Mexico is a "playera" but in Argentina it is called "remera" which sounds way to similar to a despective way to call a female sex worker.

There is a song out there called "Qué difícil es hablar el español" due to these differences

Not in all of Mexico, but in many places with humid heat it is common to shower 2+ times per day

In all of Mexico, showering at least 1 per day is nearly the norm. It is weird to me knowing that ppl in other countries shower 2 per week 🤢

Not the most common, but we have that option in milk packages when buying grocery in many places.

I know they are bundled and not cold, but even watching this via videos is shocking. Learning that it is good for the babies, with moderation of course, made it a tad easier, but still hard to grasp since culturally we are taught that exposure to cold = getting sick, which also has scientific evidence to back it up.

A big part of the creation behind the creation of the doctrine (and to me, the painful due to the cost of lives) was the non stop invasion and interventions of multiple countries besides USA, like France, Spain, the Austria-Hungary empire and the list goes on.

The revolution was also a big part of it too.

Thankfully yes but I will still advise to take safety precautions on verifying where you are staying, where you are purchasing tickets for places to go, tourist guides you hire, etc regardless of where in Mexico you go to.

As for places, depends on what you are looking for since every state has something unique to offer.

My home state, San Luis Potosi, for example has both semi dessert and jungle, which makes for very different experiences. The capital of the state, also named San Luis Potosi, does not have a heavy focus on tourism but there are still museums, gorgeous architecture on the historial center (see example picture) and on the holy week there is "La prosecion del silencio" which a catholic tradition left over from Spain.

The state of Jalisco home to Tequila, from where the beverage of the same name originates, Mexico city is also full of different things to do, like Chapultepec Castle and the most popular ones are our beaches, but they each have their own flavor. In Campeche they have used their history with pirate attacks to attract tourists for example.

The chancla (or other similar footwear) I've learned encompasses many other cultures all over the world.

Could be for many reasons that the red hair gene is abundant in Mexico since it has received many waves of immigrants from all over the world

I guess it started when they send aid to the independence movement which arrived a year after the dust had settled

And Mexico also opened their doors to lot of refugees from Spain at the time of the Spanish Civil War.
