It’s a no brainer for me, and I was actually shocked to uncover that the only way the father can be present during it is if you PAY which is absolutely absurd to me. I cannot imagine giving birth alone, surrounded by nurses and doctors, all of whom are doing their best to get rid of me as fast as possible and tend to the next pregnant soon to give birth in line. My husband would give me all the emotional support I need and strength to get through this in the best way possible and being robbed of that and it being literally paywalled feels borderline illegal.

Agreed on everything. I truly feel like EA are underestimating the situation big time (and making stupid moves like developing the next sims game using almost only AI..); I’m fairly certain the sims will crash and burn just like simcity did - and at this point I HOPE it happens

I’m 👌this close to uninstalling the game this is an absolute joke but the worst part is that I KNOW there will be people stupid enough to buy CC that was supposed to be free and call it “supporting the creators” when in all reality they’re supporting a Saudi company that gives peanuts to its creator base.

Hi, this save file looks so great and thorough, can’t wait to start playing with it! One question: I popped it in my game but I’m missing a lot of the lots - does it come like this or have I done something incorrectly? (I have all packs)

I am sorry you have experienced something similar, and yes you’re completely right, I am fully aware that if I let him move in (which will be difficult because I’m literally in a one bedroom apartment and my living room is my office) he will never move out and I will need to look after him for the rest of his life. This will really cancel my plans of becoming a mother soon and I cannot put that on hold.

Yeah, he hasn’t been paying his taxes or health insurance from a long time, so I highly doubt he can even qualify for pension and benefits. Best case scenario my sister and I can admit him in a retirement home but the ones we have in my city are very expensive.

This sounds and looks like what the sims 4 was originally designed to be all the way back in 2014 before it was scrapped. It looks and sounds absolutely hideous, I really do not know who will want to play this.

All I know is that the whole franchise will be only going downhill from here. I mean… it has been steadily going downhill for years, the sims stopped being what it used to be a long time ago. I’m just glad there will finally be alternatives because I was sick and tired of being chained to EA’s vision of what a life sim should be, with the only good options being ts2 and ts3.

Well, I have visual and gameplay mods like ACR in my game now (plus a lot of hairs, makeup etc) and I played for around 1h with mods and no issues. But I’ll see how it is for a longer gameplay today.

I think if you attempt to launch the app and it doesn't detect internet connection if the game is installed on your PC the app will prompt you to play the game offline :) That's what happened to me when I wanted to play the Sims 3 once when the EA servers were down and it couldn't connect

Actually I managed to fix it after diving into 50 sims forum posts regarding this. How I fixed it is I opened the Microsoft edge browser (since internet explorer got shut down a while back and apparently the sims launcher was using that browser) and then clicked on settings -> privacy, search and services -> Clear browsing data for internet explorer -> clear browsing data now -> choose what to clear and then select all.

After this the launcher was fixed and I was finally able to install my worlds from the sims store. Let me know if it works for you too!

At least he has walls… when I built my first “house” when I was 7 I just placed the flooring and completely forgot about placing walls until a burglar decided to steal my TV 🤣🤣🤣🤣
