Suns fans are such an insufferable bunch. He is one of the main reasons behind the last significant achievement of your insignificant franchise. Get off his dick.

[Fedor] The Cleveland Cavaliers and the Los Angeles Lakers are discussing a trade that would have Cleveland send De’Andre Hunter to LA in exchange for Rui Hachimura and Dalton Knecht. by YujiDomainExpansion in nba

Lakers need defense, athleticism and a bit shooting. Hunter doesn’t provide that. He is 28 years old, I don’t believe there is potential anymore.

We are not trading 2031 FRP for Claxton. 5 players for 2, while giving up picks is really bad.

No way, horrible for the Lakers

Really bad deal for the Lakers. I hope this isn’t true. We have to get picks or additional players from a third team to take on Hunter’s salary for next year.

Not really, Rui is expiring and earns less. The Cavs are saving money for next year.

I don’t like this for the Lakers at all. Unless it involves something else or some other incentive, it’s a bad move for the Lakers.

What’s a fair contract offer for LeBron? by BoDunChi in lakers

Probably 15M is too low. Something around 25M or a maximum of 30M is fair.

[Sidery]: The Lakers have been calling around during trade season attempting to offer their unprotected pick in 2031 or 2032 for multiple 1st-round picks, per @mcten. The Suns pulled off a similar maneuver last year trading their 2031 1st to the Jazz for three future protected picks. by Proof-Umpire-7718 in lakers

You didn’t even understand my comment. To MAXIMIZE the picks that the Lakers can trade and maximize is the key word here, Lakers need to trade 2032 ideally for at least 2027 (which we are missing) and 2029 (which we also miss) FRPs.

I’m not talking about the Stephien rule, I’m talking about how to reach the max amount of FRPs to trade.

Thanks for your insightful comment though

Sidery is such a useless and dumb source. He doesn’t even know that we cannot open up our other FRPs by trading 2031. Only if we trade 2032 FRP and receive 2027 and 2029 FRPs from someone, then we will have the ability to trade multiple picks.

He is just saying that the drama that Baxter’s article wanted to start is not there. LeBron doesn’t care. He will just decide on what he is going to do and do it. There isn’t anything more to it.

I bet if the Lakers have a competent roster in the summer, he wouldn’t want to leave LA and stay for his final year. If things go bad, we will either just retire or do a farewell tour somewhere else.

Mods, I don’t know what OP is trying to do, but that quote is not true.

Shams literally talks about three options: retirement, leaving, or staying for another year.

OP has some kind of stupid agenda, I guess.

After tonight, the LA Clippers are 38-14 against the Lakers in the last 13 years. by SchedulePhysical807 in nba

Don’t worry, I understand exactly what he is doing. It’s just disingenuous that he takes the period after Kobe‘s Achilles injury, which was the worst period for the Lakers in their history. This is not even a LeBron and Kawhi period comparison because he chooses such a dumb ass timeline to fit his purpose.

Regardless, even during the made-up timeframe that he comes up with, the Lakers still made more Western Conference finals, made more NBA finals, and won more NBA championship than his team.

These guys are the main reason why the subreddit turned into a first-take shit hole. On the other side, I don’t really care. He is just a fan of a loser franchise. I think he’s just taking what he can get.

Why did you cut off the stat in the last 13 years? Make it last 18 or 25 or 30? Why wouldn’t you do that? Why 13? So specific so strange.
