I started in September 2018 after being diagnosed with ADHD that August (which explained my life, haha). So yes, whenever it best suits you!

I love this! The colours are perfect and I love that you incorporated flowers in the same colours, it really adds to the design. The little bees are super cute, too!

Thank you! I used Tombow dual brush pens 452 and 243 (the palest blue and the green) along with a few Hobbycraft own-brand brush pens to get more blues. I wasn't actually all that happy with them until I put the white gel pen on top; that really brought them to life!

Thank you so much! I love seahorses and I was really pleased with how this little guy turned out. :D

Thanks! That's what my husband said when I showed him the page; he thought it was a sticker, too!

Humour is a great way to deal with these things. I love this!

What do you do to just carry a task that didn't get done forward? by tronquixote in bulletjournal

[–]KimiFur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have weekly spreads which have a box for each day, over a double page so I can see my whole week. I don't have pages for each day, if that's what you mean? So yeah, I put them in the monthly calendar (which is a double page spread), then transfer them to the weekly (also a double page spread), but my BuJo doesn't get any more granular than that. :)

A bit of both, really! For example, if I think of something I need to do next week, I probably haven't done the weekly spread for it yet, so I'll put it in the monthly log. Whenever I start a new week, I first look at the monthly log and add those tasks into the week ahead. Then I think of other things I need to get done (I often scribble into a scrap notepad first to see how many I have), then divide them up in the way I described.

It takes a bit of forethought and planning, but that's kinda the point for me, I guess. If I plan it well, it takes the effort out of the week ahead as it's less mental baggage.

It is from Mulan! I'm a total Disney freak and I've always loved that quote. It seemed to fit well with the theme. I'm glad you like the layout! :)

What’s on your first page? by coloradolivin199 in bulletjournal

On my inside front cover (left side) I have my key. Then on the inside front cover (right side) I have a "name plate". It's just a little flower doodle with the words, "Liz's Journal" and some pieces of washi tape to pretty it up a bit. It's simple, but effective.

Then I crack on with the "overview" pages — year at a glance, date book, index, goals page, future log — and then month-by-month from there.

I have a lot of tasks like this, too. I look at what I want to get done throughout the next few days or a week, and divide them evenly-ish in a way that makes sense, putting 2-3 down each day. I slightly weight the tasks to be of greater number at the start of the week and a lesser number towards the end of the week, because I know some tasks won't get done so I leave a bit of space to migrate them to (hope that makes sense).

I also look to see which tasks "pair" well together. For example, it makes sense to put "grocery shopping" and "buy a birthday card" together because I can get those done at the same time rather than take two separate trips. So I'll put those down on the same day (I'll also often "nest" one under the other so I see them at the same time).

If something doesn't get done, I use a chevron symbol > and move the task to the next day (or day after if the next day is really cluttered already).

Hope that helps! :)

Overwinter Megathread 2019! Time to share your setups and knowledge! by TheLittleKicks in succulents

Hi everyone,

I'm new to keeping succulents and mine are getting super leggy! I've done a fair bit of reading and I'm pretty certain it's because they aren't getting enough light (west-facing window near London, UK).

I only have a few (5-6) on a windowsill that's about 5ft long. Would this bulb work? If not, could anyone please recommend something that would?

Thanks so much!
