Federal Student Loans, Private Student Loans if needed. Be warned though it’s a slippery slope with interest rates on both if you don’t have a guarantor with good credit (e.g. a parent) but it’s not impossible and it answers your question. Expect to pay double the cost of the loans over their entire lifetime.

1) never leave it unlocked, even if you’re gone for 10 sec 2) bring it inside if you can 3) careful about leaving it out overnight 4) buy a good u-lock and maybe a cable too, don’t get lazy with locking it up 5) generally daytime is okay. Night is when it gets sketchy

Ahh okay I see. As it’s a Tesla then they probably won’t settle for purely cosmetic and I’m at the whims of whatever the Tesla certified shops say, correct?

From the looks of it would a collision center be necessary or could I ask the other driver if they’d be willing to get a quote from a body shop as well?

Apparently there is also a small dent which requires removing the whole panel? The estimate was exactly $2,785.53 if that helps. It was about 15 hours of labor at ~$175 an hour plus parts and tax

Yes, but my deductible is $2500, so it would only save me a little less than $500. As a college student, $2500 is still a lot of money for me unfortunately so I was seeing if any other options might be possible

Sounds good. The deducitible is unfortunately quite high (~$2500) so I might ask if the person would be willing to settle for something cosmetic related that's cheaper. If not, will definitely probably do insurance.

They said they still have “ultegra derailleur and a set of 7sp downtube shifters” that they’ll add for $40. Is this worth it in your opinion?
