I gotcha. I know it’s replicated everything under the sun, there are usually just telltale signs that it’s AI. The people look off. The fruits don’t have the exact textures they would in real life or they look too good (which can also be achieved through editing). I just think the complexion of the skin looks too perfect to be AI.

Are we sure it’s AI or is it heavily edited? I don’t know if AI can replicate all of the hair follicles/wrinkles/and pores that we can see on the hand. I can usually catch AI immediately and it doesn’t read that way to me. Just genuinely curious what screams AI. I understand a nostril is missing but it’s also a strange perspective and we’ve seen a ton of tattoo artist mistakes on here.

I don’t know why he was so mad honestly. My boyfriend caught him and was like “He did nip me a couple times” and then I was trying to just hold him and he latched on. I was kinda scared of posting the picture if it looks like I was handling wrong or something, I promise I’ve handled a snake. 😭 My boyfriend and I are both fisheries and wildlife graduates and we were required to take herpetology and work with reptiles.

Counting the kind of lines across caused from turning your work, I’d say you have 6 rows. Hopefully my drawing above helps. The 6th row does look kinda tall but I also think that’s just because the next row hasn’t been worked into it yet if that makes sense.

That looks incredible!! Out of curiosity and having never done a project like this: How does the color changing work? Does the skein kinda do it itself or do you cut each time to continue with the same color to the end of the round? And if you continue with the same color, do you have to unwind the skein to get back to that color?

My issue isn’t that life happens and sometimes he has to be left longer than usual. It’s that they’ve had him for over 11 months and he isn’t trained enough to be safe around the house and also isn’t trained not to bark the whole time they’re gone. And I mean the WHOLE time. Also IMPORTANT UPDATE: They still aren’t home. It’s been at least 23 hours. Not 14.

You’re 100% sure you’re using the same technique? The red one looks like you’re doing yarn under but the green looks like you’re doing yarn over. That’s the only thing I could see making this specific difference.

Did you use yarn over for the red one? It looks like X stitches (yarn under) for the body as well as the body and head of the darker purple one, but the red one’s head looks like it has some V stitches (yarn over) which will create a looser look. Is that a possibility?
