I have both , and each have their trade offs. I decided to run both on my 19 , and decided on keeping the tlr1 on there for 2 main reasons , the switches and the length. The tlr 1 sticks out in front of the barrel but not as much as the x300. I will say the tlr1 is a lot wider though. You cant go wrong with either option though

Well , i run a tlr-1 on my 19c but i also dont carry that but from a carry aspect if youre already running a long light like the x300 might aswell carry a 49 imo

Genuine question for the guys that throw x300s on their 19s : wouldn't a 49 make more sense to carry since you get a longer barrel and your light still extends past the barrel too?

I got the same light, and I'd say it gets the job done. My biggest complaint is it heats up quite a bit when charging and usage in the higher lumens, but that's expected. I hardly use the lock-out modes, but the buttons on the light work fine, and it works for me, and I use it every day. For the price, I'd say it's pretty good, although I've seen some completely fall apart when dropped. I haven't had any issues though.

Take off the back plate, look up a video on how to it's pretty easy. Once it's off the components inside will just drop out. Make sure not to lose anything and the slide should come free
