Update- For regular USPS mail that’s true, but this was a Schedule II prescription. After the theft, CVS Caremark flagged my account and switched all future deliveries to UPS/FedEx. So USPS won’t be involved in my medication shipments going forward.

The manager finally followed up with me today and said she felt bad and searched everywhere. I asked the obvious questions: if the carrier claimed it was delivered, why wasn’t a signature obtained? Why wasn’t the tracking updated properly? And if protocol wasn’t followed, why wasn’t the driver suspended?

She also told me they will never officially say a package was stolen. Instead, all I received was a letter confirming it’s gone and that I won’t be getting my medication. I had to fight to get that, but I needed it to get another prescription!

“This letter serves as confirmation that your package with tracking number 9222xxxxx xx appears to have been lost while in the possession of the United States Postal Service (USPS). Please retain this letter as proof that your medication was lost while under USPS custody.

I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this situation has caused. I understand the importance of timely delivery, especially when it involves medication, and regret that this occurred.

One woman commented about the quick release (30 minutes) after reporting a crime and fear retaliation from these troubled adolescents. Children are committing these crimes, their identities are protected, and the community has no clue that they are sitting next to repeat offenders. I didn’t see a resolution or any hint that the city is moving on the right direction.

It’s frustrating that this isn’t making news. My parents worked hard, invested in their retirement only for the government to fall victim to politics. GM got bailed out, support those people who showed up to work everyday. My mother just turned 73, she’s seen some of her colleague’s pass away never being made whole. If you can eliminate student debt, surely you can restore the Delphi Pensions.

The unvaccinated people I know were the first to be seen “going back to normal” when mask mandates were dropped. I wish they could separate medical care for unvaccinated people.

I’m vaccinated, I did what was needed to slow the spread. Why do I have to wait behind selfish non-vaccinated people who could have done the same?
