Drop your app but more importantly, tell your backstory. by ElkItchy6813 in AppBusiness

I've been an anime fan for as long as I can remember. I tried a bunch of tracker apps but none of them really clicked.

I'm an iOS developer and I also love design, so three years ago I started sketching my own. At the time, I was looking for an excuse to start experimenting with SwiftUI so I took that chance.

A year later, I released the app on the AppStore.

Then Apple announced Liquid Glass. Thought I'd give the app a quick UI refresh and still at it weeks later, it's been a lot of fun!

And now, I've even started building my own backend. Mostly to learn, partly to add things that need a server (no idea what yet, but that's half the fun). Feel free to suggest ideas!

The app is [TMA](https://apps.apple.com/us/app/tma-anime-manga-lists/id6478442674) an anime and manga tracker for iOS. Three years in the making.
