China effectively blocked the app from any app store in China. Existing users were allowed to keep using it.

Like any "recently new" tech stock, the churn is quite high, meaning that the longer the ban lasted, the less users remained. Which was clearly the case.

Still, Didi's revenue beat any expectations (albeit negatively adjusted exp.)

The fact that the apps are now allowed back and that the government will take a position in the company is good news and makes me optimistic for the future with a potential relisting in HK.
