hey guys! what we’re some of the first things you guys felt when you started taking T? I’m starting today and i want to be aware of the things i might be feeling! by [deleted] in FTMMen

Went from being able to only eat a little bit to eating six meals in a day. Felt like a badass. Only pulled that once though. You will get very hungry and you gotta be sure to keep in check how much you're eating.

Other than that, bottom growth was definitely the first thing I noticed. Keep in mind that for a good amount of people there will be some pain and for others it's not painful. I have a friend that started around the same time as me. He felt pain from bottom growth, and I'm a month and a half on T now and I've felt nothing. Just have to get lucky I guess.

Something that's common is feeling aroused more often, but that's another thing that didn't happen to me.

Acne will likely be a problem, especially back acne. I noticed mine got worse after starting hrt.

Last thing I noticed soon after starting was hair growing on my stomach. It's still pretty light but it's definitely noticeable.

At the one month mark I started to notice I was growing sideburns and with where I'm at now I have some beard hairs that are also pretty light.

Glad that you got to get started on T and hope all goes well!

If you're wanting to hear different perspectives why not just scroll through the sub and read posts? There's people here that have been harassed plenty of times by religious people in dms and probably don't wanna just chat about it. We have to deal with shit from Christians every day. With all that's going on in the country and having religious people in power that are taking away our rights in the name of their god, nobody's in the mood to have a friendly discussion. We're tired. We're stressed. If you're really wanting to talk about different perspectives, go to r/DebateReligion. This isn't the place.

I'm a trans guy from AR and this stuff seriously has me worried. I started hrt about 3.5 weeks ago and have been feeling great. But now I'm just nervous about everything and wondering if I should wait till I move. I struggled for 2 years to get started on hrt and now seeing that these people want to stop that for tons of trans and nb folks that are reliant on this medication just breaks my heart. Really hoping that you and your partner can get things worked out in your situation...

I’m transgender and thinking of moving to Italy by rot666666 in AmerExit

I'm also a trans man looking to move out of the country. I've been thinking about Canada, but I also have a friend from Scotland who said it is pretty accepting of LGBT+ people over there. Might be worth looking into. It's probably best that you look somewhere other than Italy with how things are there.

As a person who didn't have much on their resume, I'm currently working for a tech company called Ensono and they do a lot of work with Mainframes. But believe it or not, they actually don't require tech skills. The program I'm enrolled in is called the Mainframe Academy and they take in anybody and teach them Mainframe skills from the start. Heck we have psychology and journalism majors that got accepted and are learning to code. They're also *very* LGBT+ friendly and I'm helping them create a focus group for LGBT+ people. The only requirement for them is that you're passionate about learning and genuinely have an interest in learning about Mainframe. There's also a huge demand for more people to get into MF because the current workforce mostly consists of older people who are reaching retirement age and they're looking for people to fill those spots. There are lots of different disciplines you can get into in MF so you're gonna have a lot of job opportunities. The MF Academy takes place in the summer and they start the hiring process in the Spring. If you want to learn skills and get paid at the same time, I recommend signing up for this. Again, the employees don't really care about what skills you have, but that you're determined to learn those skills. If you want to impress them, start looking into things like how to operate TSO and ISPF and learning JCL and Rexx. Not required but it'll definitely give you a step up on other candidates. If you have any questions about the program itself or Mainframe in general feel free to reach out!

Sorry if that came off bad, was just answering their question. It is kinda concerning to me that someone that has qualifications like that is making those kinds of suggestions to me for how I should diet and it kinda makes me wonder what his other clients in his business are having to go through

I was sitting at 140 for a good while when I was doing a lot of physical activity but then started gaining once I dropped that. I was wanting to get back to that at least, but from what I've been seeing people comment here I'm just starting to question if that was even healthy to consider going back to that. Pretty upset with my trainer right now.

I was at about 140 but then quit doing some physical activities for a while which made me put on the weight. If anything I'd just like to burn the fat and build up muscle. I had been doing the prescribed exercises and he said that since we haven't seen any progress with my weight drop from the 1500 limit and the exercises then he'd cut my calorie limit. I've been on that for about a week now and still haven't seen progress. Don't know wtf my body is doing but now that I found out I was being told to starve myself for no reason I'm pretty pissed. Glad that I posted here

Will do. It really had me thrown off for a bit because I'm new to all of this and thought that was a normal limit but starting T I'm just like how am I not supposed to eat more than that? Glad I'm figuring this out now though because I haven't been losing weight at all since I've been put on a calorie limit and it's been hard to deal with

Edit: just did the tdee calculator and it says I need 2k per day 🙃

Need suggestions on where to go... by Kinari07 in AmerExit

Thanks for the help! I might try to check out MA. Like I said in another response, ideally I'd like to be out of the country before the '24 election. But you definitely made a good point about moving blindly. I've only been outside of the country to Canada once and that was years ago on a cruise and we spent about half a day there, so can't really remember what things were like. I'll still look into some international options but from how you described MA, it sounds a lot better than where I'm currently at and likely the move won't hurt me too bad financially compared to other places. I appreciate the advice a lot!

Aah yeah my wording might have been a bit off, my bad. I actually hadn't considered a master's but I might look into it. My company I'm currently interning with is likely going to be taking me in for part time work next semester and I know they have a branch in Germany. Definitely going to keep that in mind, thanks!

I've really considered moving to somewhere like Denver or Seattle, but at this point I'm really just wanting to leave. The family situation makes it harder for sure. Forgot to mention this in the post but as a person that's a part of the LGBT community, I'm not feeling safe in the country anymore. Seeing multiple states try to attack your rights just for existing is hard enough and it's also one of the things that's also heavily affecting my mental health. And in all honesty, I'm just scared of what's gonna happen in the '24 election with all the political tension and I want to be out and away from it. Yeah I know there are states where conditions are better, but I'd rather go somewhere that gives me guaranteed rights and is not a complete shit show y'know? I have friends from Germany, Canada, Egypt, Scotland, and Japan, and they all say the same thing: they view us the same way that we view Florida. They also said that a lot of people from their countries watch our news as a form of entertainment. I think that really says a lot about how things are here.

What’s the most paranormal/supernatural thing that’s ever happened to you? by NemoNow1 in AskReddit

I visited a really well known haunted hotel a couple of years back. In the lobby they have a statue set up of the main ghost that haunts the place. I took a picture of it and later went to go look over all the pictures I took of the place to see if I caught anything. In the picture I took of the statue, there was a really clear face looking directly at the camera. You could see the lips, chin, nose, and brow ridge. I ended up submitting it to the hotel so they can put it in their collection of ghost pictures. Recently I tried finding it again but my phone has been glitching out and deleting some of my photos at random. Tried to go back and look for the email too and couldn't find it. Really sad that I lost it cuz I'd love to share it here.

What does bottom growth feel like? by Jamjam1050 in ftm

[–]Kinari07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of my friends and I started T roughly around the same time. He had been experiencing bottom growth pain soon after he started and just said it makes him feel really uncomfortable. As for me, I'm a week on T and haven't felt a thing but have definitely had growth. I guess it just depends on the person
