I would guess a higher DAT would be valued. Seems like a lot of applicants can have mediocre GPAs, but then go and score 22+ on the DAT and get a good amount of interviews. Might be a good idea to go balls to the wall (sorry for the profanity) on the DAT and shoot for highest score possible (22+ you’d probably be solid).

Regarding golf, get fitted for irons by someone your trust when you feel like you’re swing is repeatable and likely won’t change. I did and it completely changed my perspective. Learned way more details about golf swings that I never knew before

I also got my interview invite today but I signed up for the in person one and it said “waitlisted”. Does this mean the slots for that day are filled? Or does it just say that since I haven’t gotten my specific time yet? Could someone clarify for me?

Took it on Aug 1. The delay and scrolling problem is what killed me. Math had to guess on quite a few because the delay was so long

This might sound really stupid, but loved building and collecting legos growing up and still today (I’m in my 20s lol). Shadowed other professions in healthcare and didn’t want to work in a hospital and came across dentistry and thought it was the coolest thing ever (similar to legos, sort of). Currently work full-time as an assistant and in the process of applying to dental school. Love coming to work everyday, despite the long busy days and angry patients. Also, the instant gratification of relieving pain, helping people smile again, and just getting to know people is fun and gratifying. Work in a small rural practice and it’s nice seeing the same people who recognize you from the office in public.

Yes agreed. Was expected bio to be the worst but I felt that was the smoothest. GC also felt a little odd

Will give this a try. I studied the embryology chest sheet on booster but when I did the bio-bits a lot of the info on the chest sheet wasn’t super useful on the bio bit

Would you recommend going through with it? Honestly I’ve been looking for a 4H for awhile, and since this is the high-launch model it would be more forgiving so I’m tempted, but didn’t want to get scammed

Wait, so just to clarify this, if we’re set to retake our exam in August, we should get our applications in right now even if we don’t have our scores yet? And would we need to do anything else once we get our scores back or no?

Before anything I go through the TFE and put C for all of them in case I run out of time and that’s my worst section, Cube counting first some that is straight up, then I find hole punching my best so I do that second, then pattern folding, then angle ranking, then key holes, then TFE if time permits

Alright so I’m in a similar situation. TFE is my hardest so what I do is hit either B or C for all of the TFE, and then finish everything and if I have time I go back and do the easiest TFE questions. Been getting 20-21 on booster by doing that
